Amsterdam is a vibrant city known for its picturesque canals, world-renowned museums such as the Van Gogh Museum or the Rijksmuseum and a rich cultural history that makes it a must-see tourist destination in Europe.

The European capital of bicycles and tolerance is a city that will make anyone fall in love.

Curiosities

It has more than 100 kilometers of canals and 1,500 bridges, more than the city of Venice.

There are more bicycles in the city than people, making it the European bicycle capital.

The Flower Market (Bloemenmarkt) is the only floating flower market in the world and an ideal place to see the famous tulips.

Anne Frank lived in the De Pijp neighbourhood during the Nazi invasion and wrote her famous diary from her refuge.

Site of the world’s first stock exchange, established in 1602, where company shares could be bought and sold in a structured and regulated environment.

Accommodation in Amsterdam

OOSTERPARK GENERATOR

Generator Amsterdam is located in the east of the city, in an up-and-coming neighbourhood, overlooking Oosterpark. It is housed in what was once the Faculty of Zoology and today offers accommodation for 564 guests in 168 double and quadruple rooms with en-suite bathrooms and views of the park or garden.

It features spacious and flexible communal areas, with creative design touches such as glass lifts, a café that hovers over a spacious lounge and an outdoor terrace. We have converted the former lecture hall into a stunning lounge and chill-out bar, while the former library is now a relaxation room that we also rent out for private events. The basement and café are now restaurants, and the former boiler room is a secret late-night bar.
