Morocco is known for it’s world class waves and can be reached within a day travelling.
The area of Taghazout is probably famous for it’s long righthanded waves, which has been drawn to the attention of many surfers all over the world since the sixties.
Best period of surftravelling starts in october and lasts until april because of winterswell. With the only difference that Morocco doesn’t have temperatures below 20 degrees in this season.
Anchor Point
This is probably the most famous spot in Morocco due to its perfect right-handers and consistency at all tides.
This break is a mixture of sandbars and reef, with three sections to enter: the first two for your manoeuvres and the last one to enjoy barrels. It’s not the longest wave in the area , but surely a high quality wave with a lenght of almost 300m.
Boilers
A shipwreck has given this wave its name, where you can see the boiler of a ship at the beginning of the wave.
This is probably the most complicated and spectacular break, often visited by photographers and professional surfers because of the intensity of the wave and the images it provides.

The area has more than 15 quality surf breaks, from beginner beach breaks to endless point breaks.

We recommend a surfing level which ables to – at least – make solid turns on any kind of wave. It’s also possible to contract beginners classes with us where we take you to adequate surfspots in this area.
